McGarvey Custom Homes’ Cadera single-family villa and Mon Paradis grand estate designer-decorated, furnished models are open for viewing and purchase in Quail West.

The furnished Cadera model showcases an interior by Freestyle Interiors’ Arlynn McDaniel and is one of three opportunities for ownership within McGarvey’s La Caille villa neighborhood at Quail West. The 2,702-square-foot floor plan includes a great room, gourmet island kitchen, and a dining area, three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, a study, and a three-car garage. An outdoor living area features a fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, conversation and dining areas, and a pool surrounded by planters with palms. The furnished Cadera model is priced at $1.25 million.

McDaniel’s coastal design for the Cadera is captivating while inviting relaxation with an immediate aura of casual comfort. Her clean color palette incorporates a twist on the classic contrasts of navy blue and white, and black and gray. The flooring material throughout the main living areas is a muted gray porcelain tile.

Upon entering the Cadera, the foyer is defined by a decorative inset in the flooring where small chicklet tiles will incorporate all of the home’s themed colors. A hallway leads from the foyer to the great room and features distinctive ceiling details while the flooring showcases a faux wood porcelain tile detail in gray, cream and white. White tongue-in-groove woodwork adds bright styling along the hallway walls that widens as it approaches the great room to accommodate floor-to-ceiling niches showcasing artwork. Decorative pendant fixtures to complement the entry chandelier provide light.

The study features a gray-toned engineered wood floor with walls painted a warm soft gray-taupe and adorned with artwork. A white lacquered desk with chrome legs is in front of freestanding asymmetrical open shelving units fashioned of gray and white reclaimed wood that balance perfectly with the gray wood flooring. The desk chair is upholstered in a hound’s tooth pattern of gray and white.  A bay window features a cushioned window seat wrapped in tongue-in-groove detailing.

The impact of the great room area that incorporates the dining room and kitchen is evident in its carefree connection to the outdoors. On the feature wall, McDaniel has incorporated a built-out header and side column details, painted in the room’s taupy gray tone, that establish a niche to accommodate an entertainment console. The niche’s back wall is enhanced by navy blue grass cloth providing a backdrop for a freestanding console in reclaimed washed-gray oak and a 70-inch television above. A square-edged sofa in a creamy beige linen is complemented by four chairs with wicker detailing and accented by pillows in white linen and navy blue velvet. In the center, a large square cocktail table features a reclaimed wood top and white lacquered legs.

The adjacent dining room features a black wooden table with an X-shaped base while the chairs provide contrast in white leather with X-shaped legs in chrome. The contrasts continue in the gourmet kitchen where the generous island features shaker style cabinetry in black while the perimeter cabinetry is white. Uniting the two, counter tops showcase a quartz material featuring the gray striations of Carrera marble.

Sliding glass doors across the back of the great room provide a smooth transition to the outdoors where the unusually shaped pool is augmented by landscaping that includes palm trees in large decorative planters. A fireplace in the corner of the covered lanai is adorned with floor to ceiling slate tile. In the opposite corner, the outdoor kitchen features NatureKast weathered gray cabinetry with granite counters and a stainless steel hood. The dining arrangement includes a 60-inch circular table with four chairs.

In the master suite, the color scheme combines softer blues and grays with some elements of black. The bed features a white upholstered headboard. On either side, the weathered oval oak night stands add shapely interest. A dresser in weathered oak features an intricate basket weave pattern and chrome legs. The room is large enough to accommodate a casual sitting area by a large picture window and double doors leading to the lanai.

In the master bath, his and her vanity cabinetry in a taupy gray finish is topped with white counters. The built-in bath tub is decorated with a hexagonal accent tile in mushroom, black and white. This accent tile will be showcased on the shower floor and will run up the shower wall in an ornamental design.

Priced at $4.15 million fully-furnished, the Mon Paradis features an architectural design by Alberto Abad of New Architectura Inc. The country French design offers 5,141 square feet under air. The floor plan includes a grand foyer with a see-through view of water features. A massive great room with a vaulted ceiling with rustic dark beam details flows into a double-island kitchen and breakfast room. The plan also features a formal dining room with refrigerated red and white wine storage, a study/parlor, four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool bath, and two, two-car garages. The master suite includes a morning kitchen and his and her water closets. An outdoor living area, measuring 1,053 square feet, features a custom pool and spa, covered lanai spaces with roll-down screens, a summer kitchen, and a fireplace. The Mon Paradis was named recipient of the Collier Building Industry Association’s 2016 Sand Dollar Award for Product Design of the Year – Single Family Model Homes $4,000,001 – $4,500,000. The furnished model showcases an interior designed by Freestyle Interiors’ Alex Thies.

Thies’ design for this open home is juxtaposed with a rustic French influence evident in the vaulted dark wood beamed ceilings and wire-brushed white oak hardwood flooring in the living areas. The color palette, set against a background of white walls, includes a blend of chocolate browns, creams, linens, and terracotta tones. In contrast to the flooring, her woods throughout the home are rich and dark with a preponderance of creamy linen upholstery for light natural texture.
