Many travelers will choose sun over snow this holiday. That’s good news for the local hotels which expect to be stuffed with visitors this week.
Both Ritz-Cartlons will be even busier than last year for the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to the marketing and sales director for The Ritz-Carlton Resort of Naples, Bruce Seigel says, “It’s so amazing how we can continue, how this market, this area continues to grow and the demands for luxury and the products and services of this area are so strong”.
Through October, Collier County had seen more than 1.5 million visitors and visitation was up 3.7 percent over the year. Visitor spending has increased even more. It was up 9 percent year-over-year, at more than $1.6 billion, with two months still left to go in the year, according to a report by Tampa-based Research Data Services Inc.
